Located in the heart of Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight, The Albion Hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian coastal retreat that effortlessly combines historic charm with contemporary boutique luxury. Following an extensive refurbishment, the hotel has been thoughtfully redesigned to create elegant, character-filled spaces where every detail has been carefully considered, offering guests a truly memorable stay by the sea.
As part of the renovation, The Albion Hotel selected a collection of our Dryden Cast Iron Baths to feature throughout a number of its beautifully designed guest bedrooms. Each bath has been finished in carefully chosen Farrow & Ball colours, including the rich blue tones of De Nimes, the timeless green of Green Smoke, and the deep, dramatic Hopper Head, creating striking centrepieces that perfectly complement the hotel's sophisticated interiors.
More than simply a bathroom fixture, each Dryden Bath has become a defining feature within the guest experience. The generous proportions and classic silhouette invite guests to slow down, unwind and enjoy a moment of relaxation, while the handcrafted quality of the cast iron bath reflects the same attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship that can be seen throughout the hotel.
The project is a wonderful example of how bespoke finishes can transform a bathroom into a true design statement. By selecting colours from the Farrow & Ball collection, The Albion Hotel has created individually styled spaces that feel cohesive, elegant and full of character, demonstrating the versatility of our cast iron baths and the impact that thoughtful colour choices can have within hospitality interiors.
We are delighted to have been part of The Albion Hotel's refurbishment and to see our Dryden Cast Iron Baths playing a role in creating such beautifully designed guest rooms. The combination of heritage craftsmanship, bespoke colour and timeless design perfectly reflects the hotel's vision of relaxed coastal luxury.
If you're planning a visit to the Isle of Wight, The Albion Hotel is well worth exploring to experience its beautifully designed interiors and luxurious accommodation for yourself.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Gretton, in the heart of the Cotswolds, The Huts @ The Royal Oak is a family-run retreat offering three individually designed shepherd's huts with panoramic countryside views and beautifully crafted interiors. Designed as a place to slow down, reconnect and embrace the rhythm of rural life, each hut provides a peaceful escape where guests can truly switch off.
As part of the development, the owners wanted to create something truly special for The Dumbleton Hut - a private bath hut that would offer guests a dedicated sanctuary for relaxation and wellbeing. Working in collaboration with Lymore Huts, the team transformed an initial sketch into a beautifully crafted space that perfectly balances rustic charm with understated luxury.
At the heart of the bath hut sits our Copper Bateau Bath with Nickel Interior, chosen for its striking appearance, exceptional craftsmanship and luxurious bathing experience. The warm copper exterior complements the natural materials and countryside setting, while the polished nickel interior creates a refined focal point that elevates the entire space.
Designed to encourage guests to pause, soak and unwind, the bath has become an integral part of the retreat's experience, offering a sense of indulgence while providing a wonderfully comfortable place to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds.
This project beautifully demonstrates how thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship and carefully chosen statement pieces can work together to create unforgettable hospitality spaces. The collaboration between The Huts @ The Royal Oak, Lymore Huts and Hurlingham Baths has resulted in a unique luxury retreat that blends timeless design with the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside.
With more exciting developments planned at The Huts @ The Royal Oak throughout 2027 and 2028, this is certainly a destination to keep an eye on.
If you're looking for a memorable countryside escape, we highly recommend exploring The Huts @ The Royal Oak and discovering everything this beautiful retreat has to offer.

Located on the iconic Denmark Street in London's Soho, Chateau Denmark is unlike any other hotel. Spanning 16 historic buildings, the luxury development celebrates the area's rich musical heritage, combining bold interiors with individually designed rooms that blur the line between hotel and immersive experience.
To complement the hotel's striking aesthetic, Hurlingham was commissioned through West One Bathrooms to create a collection of bespoke freestanding baths that reflected the individuality of each space. Working closely with the project team from concept through to completion, Hurlingham handcrafted a total of 24 baths, each designed to enhance the hotel's dramatic interior design.
Every bath was carefully developed to complement Chateau Denmark's distinctive character. Rather than using standard finishes, several baths featured completely bespoke treatments, including rich red enamel interiors paired with black exteriors, alongside copper baths finished with a verdigris patina.
The verdigris finish is achieved through a meticulous hand-finishing process involving multiple layers of copper paint, reactive solutions and careful surface finishing, ensuring every bath possesses its own unique appearance.
Alongside the bespoke finishes, practical modifications were incorporated into the designs. Overflow heights were adjusted to improve water efficiency without compromising the bathing experience, demonstrating how bespoke manufacturing can combine aesthetics with functionality.
Each bath was hand-finished in Hurlingham's Lincolnshire workshop before being delivered directly to site in coordination with the project's contractors, ensuring a smooth installation across the multi-building development.
The completed bathrooms perfectly reflect Chateau Denmark's theatrical and luxurious interiors. The bespoke baths have become statement pieces within the hotel, combining artisan craftsmanship with bold contemporary design to create spaces that are as memorable as the building's rich cultural history.
The Chateau Denmark project demonstrates how bespoke bathroom design can play a defining role in creating unforgettable hospitality interiors, where every detail contributes to the overall guest experience.
Our Alverton Copper Bath and Colossus Floor Mounted Horse Towel Rail in Copper were featured in a hotel bedroom scene on the long-running ITV series Coronation Street. Chosen for their striking appearance and timeless design, both pieces helped create a luxurious setting that complemented the character of the space.
The feature highlights how Hurlingham products are specified not only for high-end residential and hospitality projects, but also for television productions where authentic, beautifully crafted interiors are essential.
